Important Information

Dates: March 22-27, 2020 for 5 nights (tentatively)

Location: Mahoe Bay on the island of Virgin Gorda, BVI

Cost: Approximately $1,500 per person (exclusive UT rate)

Flight: Round-trip Delta flight from Sioux Falls, SD to St. Thomas, USVI

Style of Trip: Villa Vacation + Adventure

Who Should Go: Travelers looking for a true Caribbean experience who enjoy water activities, exploring, and adventure.

Things To Do: Each villa will have it's own private pool as well as water activities such as kayaks, snorkel equipment and paddle boards. Some villas include other activites such as bean bag boards, ping-pong and croquet. Throughout the island there are several great places to visit including restaurants, bars and more. A car rental will also come with your villa allowing you to explore endlessly. 

Excursions: During our stay, we will be offering a day trip to the island of Jost Van Dyke, home to the Soggy Dollar Bar. This excursion will depart at 9am and return around 4pm. Guests will board a boat in Virgin Gorda and take the 1 hour ride to Jost where we will experience beautiful beaches, several shops, little restuarants and bars, beach volleyball and so much more. We will eat lunch at Foxy's which is a famous seafood restaurant on the island. Plan on getting wet at the Soggy Dollar Bar since there is no dock for the boats! Jump off the boat into waist deep water and walk up to the beach for a good time. Enjoy cold beverages on the boat while traveling as well. The cost will be roughly $145 per person. 

Another excursion that we will be taking is a morning to The Baths. These huge rock boulders have naturally formed small pools of water and have created a magical place to explore. After venturing through the rocks, you will be rewarded at the end with a little beach bar called Poor Man's Bar where you can get a cold drink and snack. Lily, our good friend, also has a very unique little boutique set up on the beach for all your souvenier apparal and gifts. Up on top of The Baths is a nice restaurant and open swimming pool to enjoy as well. The excursion will last about 2-3 hours. The cost is just $3 per person to enter the park.

Important Key Factors:

• Must keep an open-mind and have flexibility as most people in the Virgin Islands live on Island Time (which is an actual thing). Slow down and enjoy!
• We will be taking a boat from St. Thomas to Virgin Gorda and back so you must be comfortable with that. You are able to see land at all times on the boat.
• You will be required to make some meals and pour your own drinks while at the villa. The kitchens are fully equipped and all villas have a gas grill avilable as well. 
• Your villa will consist of between 4-6 bedrooms so you will be sharing the home with other people. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. The other areas of the villa will be shared incluidng the kitchen, dining area, living room and outdoor space. 
• Our group will consist of 2-3 villas along Mahoe Bay so feel free to visit the other villas and mingle with everyone. We will plan on getting together a few nights for meals and fellowship. 

Sea Fans

Sea Fans is a luxurious 4 Bedroom Villa Available for Rent in Mahoe Bay on the Island of Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands. Sea Fans was designed so that each of the bedrooms is very private. Each hexagonal BR has its own separate entrance, A/C, bathroom and “outdoor” shower (no one can see in but you can watch the sunset over Drake’s Channel). There are 2 separate beachside bedroom pods and a 2 story, 2 bedroom pod. The second floor BR even has a kitchenette. Each BR has its own large covered terrace with teak furniture. There is a wet bar by the pool, complete with an ice maker and refrigerator. The main house has a high cathedral roof with 4 ceiling fans and indirect lighting. There is a modern, extremely well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave oven, toaster oven and refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispensed through the door. The large center island has a beautiful polished granite top with stools beneath it. The flooring in all living areas is Mexican stone tile. Although “earth tones” are prevalent throughout the interior, bright floral patterns brighten up each room. A glass-top, stone-base dining room table seats 6 comfortably. An L-shaped sitting area just off of the kitchen is set up for easy conversation or to watch TV. A library of books, videos, games and CDs is available for your enjoyment.

Caribbean Wind

Caribbean Wind is the only 6 bedroom and one pull out bedroom on Mahoe Bay. This amazing villa is completed renovated and has every amenity.
